Hebrews chapter 3, 4 and 2 Corinthians 6:2 make reference to this word ‘Today.’ It could be said rightly that for saint and sinner, “Today is the day of salvation.” Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is not promised.
Make your calling and election sure ‘Today,’ Saint.
Call upon the Lord, Today, Sinner.
Christian! We should not look back on long gone days to see the brightest days of fellowship with Jesus. The day of salvation is Today, for us to build on our adoration, our communion, our fellowship, our devotion, our union, our holiness in facing Christ Jesus.
If we look back and see days where our fellowship with Christ Jesus more close, our communion more sweet, our devotion more hot, and heart and soul more alive to prayer and scripture, then we are in a backsliding place.
Repent! Today!
