"Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor and not suffer sin upon him" (Lev. 19:17).
A wise man once gave me three principles to live by:
1) Love people
2) Point them to Jesus
3) Rebuke their sin
These are the best and most simple principles I have ever heard. You cant just agree with the first one and neglect two and three. Love isn't the absence of rebuke. No, no, no. Love is pointing them to Jesus and rebuking their sin. Just above in Leviticus 19:15 we read: "...but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor." Oh, really?
Yes sir! This is walking as Christ did. Thanks Cal Zastrow for these godly principles.
