Having read through Genesis in the past few days, I am staggered and sobered at the faith that wins heaven, even God's pleasure. The faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel) extended through every part and parcel of life for them. It wasn't Sunday only faith (if we can even call that faith) it was the faith of God that captured every thought, decision, will and movement. When they said "God hath done it," or "God be with you" it was not trite clichés or quotes but because they walked with and worked for God with all their life - they said such things and lived such lives because God was all they had and all they wanted - if only to please Him.
