A true and earnest witness, before God, about seven men who history knows as 'the Cambridge Seven.'
"When these seven young men yielded their lives to Jesus, they didn't runaway to a cave and become monks. They didn't shut their mouths and become quietly self-righteous. Instead, they continued to struggle and grow in love for Jesus and for others. They made the most of their situations for the sake of telling others about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, even though their individual positions meant nothing to them because of the joy and meaning they had in Jesus" (From: http://www.wholesomewords.org/missions/bcambridge7.html ).
Veritably, too many church buildings in america are mere 'caves' for self-righteous christians to 'hide' in. How many times have you heard the call of Christ: "follow Me to this neighborhood," or "there's a need in China, will you go," or "sell all and give to the poor and then come follow Me," but you dismiss it as no longer relevent or for the most zealous of Christians?
Who will Go for Me, saith the Lord still. Multitudes perishing, multitudes perishing. He still desires NONE to perish. Does that even strike your heart, 'christian?' Do you tremble at the words "for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ...so then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God" (Romans 13:10b, 12), but then roll over and fall asleep again and keep your comfortable home, your cars, your 9 to 5 and do nothing? Though you dismiss your duty, your appointment at the judgment shall never be dismissed. Labor now by faith for Christ while you still have breath.
